Niki Weinstein, MS, OTR/L

Our founder, Nicole Weinstein (Niki), has worked with children as young as 6 months up to 18 years with a variety of needs from handwriting to global delays. Niki believes that every child is unique, and therefore, tailors her services to meet each child’s individual needs. She believes that children learn, develop, and grow through play, so her treatment sessions are always fun and motivating.
Niki is certified in Handwriting Without Tears and Therapeutic Listening and has been trained in Sensory Processing Disorders at the STAR institute. She loves to learn and continues to take relevant coursework related to childhood development and therapeutic techniques, so that she can provide the best quality of care.
Niki graduated from New York University with a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Previously, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated with honors and received a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a speciality in Child Development.

Monica Grover, MS, OTR/L, SWC
Monica Grover MS, OTR/L, SWC is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist based in Los Angeles. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Originally from New Jersey, she made her way to Los Angeles after graduate school. She’s since served as an Occupational Therapist in a wide range of settings, including at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Facility, Sensory Integration Clinics, schools, and a pediatric private practice in Santa Monica.
During these experiences, Monica built her expertise in sensory integration, feeding therapy, general fine motor and gross motor delays, handwriting, reflex integration and social-emotional skills.
Monica also has several specialized skills and certifications beyond her general OT capabilities. In feeding, she holds her Advanced Practice in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation & Intervention (SWC). She utilizes her training from Sequential Oral Sequencing (SOS) Approach to eeding, Talk Tools, Feeding First Conference and a variety of other oral motor and picky eating courses to guide her practice. She is alsotrained in Handwriting Without Tears and Lindamood Bell, and enjoys combining the learnings from both courses into a multi-sensory approach to reading and writing.
Monica enjoys working with kids of all ages and capabilities. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach with each family to enhance the development of each child to their fullest potential.
Sam Berger, MS, OTR/L, PAM
Samantha (Sam) Berger, MS, OTR/L, PAM has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist for the past six years. Sam studied Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a bachelor’s of science before graduating from Tufts University where she received a master’s of science Occupational Therapy.
Not many adults can say that they play for a living, but Sam is passionate about providing play-based, client-centered services. Sam recognizes that the client is more than just the child; she sees the entire family as her client and strives to provide compassionate, educated and quality treatment to meet the needs of the entire family.
Sam has dedicated her practice to working with the pediatric population, ranging from early intervention to teenage years. She has worked with children with diverse abilities and diagnoses, including rare genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, ASD and SPD. Specialty areas of practice include gross motor development and feeding. Advanced training in the area of gross motor development includes Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) (Introductory Level C) and Task Specific Electrical Stimulation (TASES). In the area of feeding, Sam has been trained in VitalStim™ and Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding. Sam uses her coursework, her experience, and real-time observations to implement multi-sensory, play-based occupational therapy services to best address her clients’ unique goals. She cannot wait to watch your child grow through play!
